The videos are now available to accompany the new book
It is time to be inspired. Sourdough School: Sweet Baking book is out, and it is a game-changer.
It’s about more than bread. It is about baking sweet sourdough, with recipes such as Danish pastries, apple pie, and brioche. It is about gut health and its connection to mental health. It is also about connecting to the farmers and the soil, and it is about you and your own gut microbiome. We teach you to bake sweet recipes, and explain why eating long, slow-fermented breads is central to gut health, and how this approach can support good mental health. It’s all about understanding.
The Sourdough Club can take each part of the book a step further, with video tutorials and new recipes and tips. So we are delighted to announce that there is a new core set of tutorials ready to go with the new book so our members can learn more about how use the new blends of flour, with video classes on how to blend and mill, and how to bake with freshly milled flour.
We have a new core tutorial explaining our 7 core principles of how to bake breads that nourish. As well as teaching you how to blend grains, we’re really excited to share that we have started a new directory to help you find grains and ingredients to mill that will connect you directly to the farmers.
The lists also include links to the research papers on nutrition and digestibility and includes grains, legumes, and flowers. As always, our approach is backed up by applying evidence and research to our bakes.
