Make your own Sourdough Wax Cloth.

Learning Objective

At The Sourdough School, we believe that every action we take should consider our connection to the natural world around us. One of the ways we uphold this philosophy is through our beekeeping activities. Bees play a crucial role in our environment, pollinating the plants that make up the world's food supply. A Beeswax cloth is a beautiful and functional item for your kitchen, but it also embodies the principles of reducing waste and promoting sustainability. It offers an eco-friendly alternative to disposable plastic wraps, which contribute to pollution and harm wildlife.  Moreover, making and using beeswax cloth supports bee farmers, who play a vital role in maintaining our ecosystems our bread lasts another two days fresh in a beeswax cloth so this is your task.

Learning Outcome

By using beeswax cloth, we can significantly reduce the amount of plastic waste we generate and avoid contaminating our food with plastic residues.
