On the Forum you can ask any baking questions you may have, and either Vanessa, one of our team, or our members will help and answer you.
If you don’t use Facebook please can we ask you to post your questions as a Comment on the most relevant website page. That way our team who are experienced enough to answer you, can do easily. For example adding a Comment (your question) to the recipe page for the particular loaf recipe you are struggling with.
If you have already tried one or both of these options you do also have the option of asking a question in the Live Clinic’s on Thursdays during UK school term time at 8pm (GMT London time). If you are struggling with a particular bake as a Club member you can submit it for analysis, but please make sure you have tried all or some of the above steps first.

Can I take my white flour starter and turn it into a rye starter?

Hi Christie yes you just refresh some of your white starter with rye flour until you have your rye starter. The Starter Lessons have a section on rye starters with the refreshment recipe and timings etc. https://thesourdoughclub.com/category/sourdough-starters/ Best wishes
