Learning Objective

The Sourdough Club is not like other Baking Courses

Whilst we do teach you to make amazing bread we also teach you to understand bread. You will learn everything  from a basic flatbread to the advanced high hydration San Fransisco boules that are so classical and beautiful.  Your teacher is Dr Kimbell who is a phonemail baker, with 4 decades of experience, and she has worked alongside some of the worlds leading bakers - so when it comes to technical aspects of baking our lessons are second to none. However our focus is not just on the hydration, crumb structure and taste of bread, we go far beyond this and into bread and the impact on health.

There ere so many aspects  that our approach can help you with that we've created an interactive  Q & A for you below to help answer some of the health aspects you might have questions about and we hope this will give you. a clearer picture of what Baking as Lifestyle Medicine might be able to help with you and your family.

GP Doctor Ed Copley is Trained in BALM – Baking as Lifestyle Medicine and he explains here why sourdough is the best way to make nourishing bread.
