The Sourdough Club

A social enterprise where a community of bakers gather and share knowledge

Our small club is run from The Sourdough School and is the alternative way to learn if you cannot attend a course in person. Learn from Dr Vanessa Kimbell how to make the healthiest bread in the world and improve digestion, boost your mood, and connect with a supportive community that’s passionate about baking for better health.

How to cancel your Sourdough Club subscription

Vanessa KimbellWe are really sorry to lose you from the Sourdough Club.  We put our heart and soul into creating the website, we are available for advice and help, and we regularly create new and interesting sourdough recipes and articles, but if you feel something wasn’t working for you we really would love to know.  It is really important to us to find out if there is anything we could do better.

Of course there are many very personal reasons why people need to cancel but if you are at all able to tell us why you decided to stop your membership we would really appreciate it, in case it is something that we can address, either now or in the future.

Can I get a refund?

As outlined in the Sourdough Club Terms and Conditions, you have seven days from your initial subscription to have a look at the site and decide if it is something that you want to enjoy.  After seven days you are committed to your subscription and no matter how your personal circumstances change, at that point we have already made a financial commitment ourselves and there can be no refunds.

How do I cancel my subscription?

There are two ways to cancel your subscription and membership of the Sourdough Club:

Either you wait until the end of your subscription and choose not to renew. Renewal settings can be adjusted between automatic renewal and manual renewal in your account settings. Or, at the end of an annual or six-monthly subscription, you can be moved onto a monthly subscription which can be cancelled at any time.   Once you have cancelled and left the subscription that is the end of your membership. If you want to join again you will need to pay for a full subscription including the joining fee.

Can I take a break?

If you wish to take a break, then you can apply to have your membership put onto standby at £2.99 per month. You may stay in standby for up to 12 months. You will not have access to the club, however you may re-join without the admin joining fee when you are ready to bake again. To do this please send an email to [email protected] with the subject title ” Standby Request.”
