STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO MAKING PANETTONE
Welcome to our Panettone course! Panettone is a classic Italian Christmas bread traditionally flavoured with sultanas and candied orange and lemon peel and served with coffee or a glass of sweet wine.
We've collaborated with Ahmed Laksimi and Adam Pagor to create a step-by-step panettone course. This course will guide you through the whole process from converting your liquid starter to a lievito madre to suspending your panettone upside down once it has baked. Please note that before you begin your course you will need to have the following things ready:
- An active starter ready to convert.
- A proofing box
- Panettone Skewers
- A digital thermometer
- Scales
- The panettone flour - a high protein plus the listed ingredients
Before you begin baking, you will need to watch the course. This is not a bake that you can simply start on. Panettone is one of the hardest breads to make, and you will need to follow the timing, and temperatures exactly
By the end of this course, you'll have produced a delicious panettone that you can share with friends and family.
